Day 1: Arrival and pick up from Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to your Hotel
Our professional driver guide will pick you up from either Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel to start your 8 Days Uganda Luxury Safari Adventure. He will brief you about the tour and then transfer you to your Hotel for rest. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Entebbe Botanical gardens known for having a variety of birds and primates including vervet monkeys. Spend the rest of the day preparing for your first Big 5 encounter the following day.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Top of falls Experience
Today, you will start the journey to Uganda’s largest national park. Murchison Falls National Park is home to about 76 mammal species and over 450 bird species. You will have an enroute stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Trekking. The sanctuary was established to protect the last remaining rhinos of Uganda. Uganda once had over 1,000 individual rhinos roaming some of the large national parks. Uncontrolled poaching wiped them out and therefore the few remaining white rhinos were taken to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. It now has over 30 individuals and there is a plan to re-introduce them in the national parks. This sanctuary is one of the best places in the world to learn about Rhino conservation. On finding the rhinos, you will spend an hour in their presence since the trek takes about 2 hours.
You will have your delicious lunch in Masindi and drive to the top of falls for another breathtaking moment. Here, you will watch the Nile squeeze itself out through a narrow 8m gorge before dropping in a thunderous roar leaving behind a beautiful rainbow. Later, you will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise to Bottom of Falls
Today on day 2 of your 8 Days Uganda Luxury Safari Adventure, you will wake up for your early morning breakfast, thereafter, you will head out for a morning game drive in the different trails of the park. For example, Buligi trail, Albert trail and the Victoria trail. You will have an eventful day within the park spotting wildlife like lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and numerous antelopes. You will thereafter return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will proceed for an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Expect to spot a variety of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, birds and so much more. You will see the spectacular Murchison falls as it drops down thunderously into a plungpool. Return back later to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary and Community
On day 3 of your safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast. Then, check out and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. As you drive, take time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and countryside. You will pass by small towns, rivers, lakes, forests and the locals carrying out their day-to-day activities. Enjoy a a mouthwatering lunch in Fort Portal the Tourism City and then continue to the park for check in.
You will then proceed for a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This sanctuary harbours over 10 species of primates and an amazing collection of birds. It is also an excellent opportunity to mingle with the local people and learn about a local project for women in the area.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Evening Game drive
You will enjoy an amazing Chimpanzee Trekking Experience today. After your delicious breakfast, ensure to wear appropriate clothing for the day. For example, a long-sleeved shirt, a pair of trousers, a pair of hiking boots, gloves and a mask. Your trek starts early in the morning with a briefing. Chimpanzees and bonobos are the closest relatives to humans. They are more intelligent than gorillas, however, gorillas could be much wiser. There are 4 habituated chimpanzee groups in Kibale forest. In addition, this forest is home to 13 primate species. For example, L’Hoest’s monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, Mangabeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and others including a number of birds and mammals.
Your trek will take about 4 hours and on finding the chimpanzees, you will spend 1 hour in their presence as you photograph them, watch how they go about their day-to-day activities and ask your ranger guide as many questions as possible about them. Have lunch and then start another 2 hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from where you will arrive in the evening and continue to your lodge with an evening game drive.

Day 6: Morning Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel – Game drive in Ishasha sector for tree- climbing lions – Proceed to Bwindi
On day 5 of the safari, you will wake up for your early morning breakfast and thereafter head out for a morning boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This cruise will give you multiple opportunities of spotting the giant hippos. The Kazinga channel is famously known for having the highest concentration of hippos and elephants. Take as many pictures as possible to help you tell your unforgettable adventure. For the bird lovers, the Kazinga channel is a perfect spot for you to spot a variety of water birds since Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to over 600 bird species. Thereafter enjoy a game drive as you head to Ishasha sector. This drive will give you a perfect encounter with the wildlife in the park and it is the perfect time to spot the early risers as they return back to their resting places. If lucky, you may spot them feasting on their hunt. The Ishasha sector is renowned for it’s tree-climbing lions, search for these lions and also a variety of other mammal species. Then continue to Bwindi with a delicious lunch stopover enroute. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Visit the Batwa Community
Early in the morning on this day 7 of the 8 Days Uganda Luxury Safari Adventure, you will be driven to the park headquarters from where you will meet your fellow tourists for a briefing on the do’s and don’ts when you are with the mountain gorillas. You will be assigned a park ranger who will take you through the entire forest as you search for these gentle giants. The Impenetrable Forest has several bird species which you will stop briefly to watch. Continue with the search for the gorillas and on finding them, you will be allowed 1 full hour to have an encounter with them.
You will notice their behaviors and how they take care of their young ones just like human beings. After that, return to the lodge for your lunch and later, the Batwa will be ready to showcase their skillfully performances for you. This community were the early inhabitants of the Impenetrable Forest before it was established as a national park. therefore their life revolves around the forest, you will learn how they used to hunt for food in their ancient ways and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer back to Entebbe for your departure

You will have an opportunity to stopover at the Equator for picture moments. As well, you can use this time to buy yourself some souvenirs to keep your memories of your Uganda Safaris.
