6 Day Kenya Adventure is one of those safaris that hits different. Kenya has got a range of savannahs teeming with wildlife, vibrant cities, and volcanic landscapes. And also a coastline that could rival the Maldives. Over six days, you will explore the heart of this country, starting in Nairobi, heading into the wild in the Maasai Mara, hiking through the Great Rift Valley, and finally unwinding on the shores of Diani Beach.
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and City Exploration
As you land in Nairobi to start your 6 Day Kenya Adventure, you will be received and greeted by your driver guide who will take you to your hotel and some refreshment. After lunch, your first stop will be the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where orphaned elephants are raised before being reintroduced into the wild. Watching baby elephants mud-bathing and being bottle-fed is oddly moving. A short drive away, the Giraffe Centre lets you feed Rothschild giraffes by hand they’ve got long tongues and zero manners. Then head back to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to the Maasai Mara National Reserve
On your day 2, you will check out from the lodge very early in the morning. You will start your journey to Maasai Mara Reserve. You leave Nairobi before sunrise to beat the traffic and cover the long road to the Maasai Mara. After Narok town, the paved roads give way to rough terrain, but the landscapes make it worth. Think endless plains, grazing zebras, and Maasai herders leading their cattle.
You will arrive to your lodge just before lunch. Get some refreshments and head out for your first game drive while watching the sunset. Going for more than 2 hours, you will spot elephants, wildebeest and a whole pride of lions with their cubs. As the sun dips behind the acacia trees, you will understand why Mara is legendary. You will later return to your lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day safari in Maasai Mara
Day 3 of the 6 Day Kenya Adventure is the crown jewel of the safari with a full day in the Maasai Mara. A packed breakfast and lunch are taken along for a day-long game drive across the reserve. By 6:30 AM, the safari vehicle rolls out in the crisp morning air. Early morning is prime time for predators. Not far from the lodge, a pair of cheetahs is spotted stalking a group of Thomson’s gazelles. The group watches from a distance as the cheetahs burst into speed, but today, the gazelles escape. The drive continues toward the Mara River, the site of dramatic river crossings during the Great Migration. Although it’s not peak season, the area still teems with hippos and crocodiles. Wildebeest and zebra graze nearby, and vultures circle above, hinting at a recent kill.
By mid-morning, a pair of lions is seen devouring a fresh wildebeest carcass. The guide explains the dynamics of lion prides how females do most of the hunting, and males often eat first.
Afternoon Game drive safari
Lunch is eaten picnic-style under the shade of a balanite tree, with views of the savannah stretching endlessly in all directions. In the afternoon, the game drive continues into more remote parts of the reserve, where large herds of elephants move through the grassland.
The final encounter of the day is a leopard resting in the fork of an acacia tree, its tail dangling and eyes alert. It’s a rare sight and a thrilling one completing the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) over the course of just three days. As the vehicle heads back to lodge at sunset, there’s a quiet contentment in the group. Dinner is followed by a storytelling session with a local Maasai guide, who shares traditional knowledge about animal behavior and the tribe’s role as guardians of the land.

They will welcome you with songs and dances, then give you a tour of their homes. Learn how they build their manyattas (huts), and how the beadwork women create funds school fees and healthcare.
By mid-morning, you will hit the road again and head toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. The drive is scenic, with escarpments and lakes appearing like mirages. Check into your lodge for relaxation

We can opt to hike the gorge, passing through narrow rock corridors, steam vents, and cliffs that inspires parts of the Lion King.
By late morning, drive to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and board a domestic flight to Ukunda the gateway to Diani Beach. After days of dust and game drives, the sight of white sand and the Indian Ocean is a reset button.
Arrive at the lodge just in time to grab a cold drink and watch the sky turn orange over the sea. That evening, you can walk along the shoreline barefoot, letting the waves erase every step.

Back on shore, you will have a lunch of grilled seafood under a palm-thatched cabana. The afternoon is pure beach mode with swimming, napping under umbrellas, and sipping on fresh passion fruit juice.
