Malaika Mara River Luxury Camp is a permanent camp open from June to October every year, tucked along the banks of Mara River in northern Serengeti, the camp offers a safari experience unlike any other since it converges wildlife, wilderness and luxury. This intimate tented camp allows guests to witness the dramatic rhythms of the African bush up close, nature is never out of sight starting from the comfort of your tent to the fireside lounge.

Location and Accessibility

Malaika Mara River Luxury Camp is located in the northern corridor of Serengeti National Park near the Woga 7 sign post and the Kichwa Tembo Junction about 30 minutes by car from Mara River. This location is renowned for its concetration of wildlife and particulary famous for the great wildebeest migration, where thousands of animals cross the river between July and October.

The camp boasts an impressive selection of 8 lavish luxury tents, alongside a spacious family luxury tent designed to accommodate larger groups. Each tent is thoughtfully equipped with the option of a king-size bed or twin beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep in comfort.

Guests can step out onto their personal 16-square-meter balcony, which offers breathtaking views of the sunrise, filling the space with warm, golden light each morning. Additionally, each tent features a private outdoor deck, perfect for savoring a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening while taking in the tranquil surroundings. Scenic View Luxury Tents

The camp features six well-appointed luxury tents and 1 scenic view family tent, each built on raised platforms to maximize airflow and vantage points across the plains or riverbanks. Inside each tent, guests enjoy king or twin beds draped with mosquito nets, locally crafted furniture, writing desks, and soft lighting that creates a warm, intimate atmosphere.

The tent is 88 sqm with a min bar with ( 2 beers, 2 sodas, 2 bottles of drinking water, I house wine and snacks), bathtub, one time star dinner within the camp compound and a daily wake-up coffee.
