Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking – Drive to Top of Falls
You will kickstart your safari adventure with a meet and greet session at the Airport. Our professional driver guide will then brief you about the safari and then start the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The park is located in the Northwestern region of Uganda. You will have an enroute stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first encounter with the Big 5. Before the trek, you will be briefed about the do’s and don’ts and then you will start the search for these magnificent creatures. Trekking them may take about 2 hours and later, you will drive to Masindi for your lunch. Then proceed with the journey to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of falls. You will be amazed by the beautiful landscape while occasionally sighting monkeys and other mammals. On reaching the top of falls, the views there are surely breathtaking. About 300 – 400 cubic meters per second of Nile water forces itself out through a tiny gorge of about 7 meters to plunge into a violent tempest in a whirlpool about 42 meters below. Later, drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise to Bottom of Falls
After your early morning breakfast, your driver guide will take you for an early morning game drive in the different sectors of the park. You will explore the major game trails especially in the northern bank for good viewing. You will spot several Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Waterbucks, and hopefully the elusive Leopards among others.
Return later to your lodge for a delicious lunch. Later you will head out for an afternoon Boat Cruise to the bottom of the falls. This cruise will give you a great opportunity to spot several mammals at a close encounter. These include the Nile crocodiles, hippos, elephants and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and also cool themselves off the scorching sun.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Visit Bigodi wetland and Community
After a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale Forest National Park which is famously known as the Primate Capital of the World. Some of the primates here are chimpanzees, baboons and monkeys. Upon arrival, you will proceed to the Bigodi Wetland for a walk since the area has a variety of primates, birds and mammals. You will then proceed to the community for an encounter with the locals. You will witness how coffee is made and also local brew out of bananas. You will later continue to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Evening Game drive
After your morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters in Kanyanchu for a briefing on the do’s and don’ts of when you are with the chimpanzees. Chimpanzees are man’s closest cousins; however, they are one of the most threatened primate species. Other primates that you will meet during your search for chimpanzees are the Black and white Columbus monkeys, Grey cheeked Mangabey, Red tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s Monkeys, bush babies, pottos and many others. Also, for the bird lovers, be ready to encounter unique species like the yellow spotted nicator, Little greenbul, green breasted pitta, rumped tinker bird, black bee eater, the crowned eagle and many others. On finding the chimpanzees, you will be allowed a full hour in their presence. Use this time to monitor their behaviours, spot the differences and also watch how they go about their day-to-day activities. Ensure to ask your ranger guide as many questions as possible and keep your cameras ready so that you do not miss out on any moments uncaptured.
Then return to your lodge for lunch and check out. You will then start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and arrive with an evening game drive to your lodge. Check in for relaxation, dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 5: Game drive in Ishasha sector and then Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Today, you will have breakfast and check out of your lodge. You will then proceed for a game drive in Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This sector is famously known for having the tree climbing lions. These are rare species of lions and they can only be found in Queen Elizabeth National Park and also Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania. Then proceed with the drive to Bwindi with an enroute lunch stopover. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda with an estimated population of 400 individuals. This is roughly half of the world’s remaining population. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rain-forests, which dates back to over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 plant species.
With a strenuous day ahead, you will check into your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Community Experience
After your early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch. You will then be briefed about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Also, you will be assigned a park ranger who will take you through the search for the Mountain Gorillas. You will trek through the thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas which can take between 2 to 6 hours. This steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. On finding the Gorillas, you will have one full hour with them. Use this time to take as many pictures as possible to help you tell your story. Also, ask you guide as many questions as possible. Then return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel
