This 5 Days Kidepo and Sipi Safari Adventure is meant to take you to the Uganda’s secluded but yet spectacular Kidepo Valley National Park that is highly rated by travelers that are seeking to visit Africa wildlife safari destinations that are unique and offer the most authentic wild African safari experience. Kidepo Valley national park is a 1,442 sq km beautiful wilderness that ranks among the top African savannah destinations. Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe or your Hotel and Transfer to Sipi falls with a stopover at Sezibwa falls

Today on day 1 of this 5 Days Kidepo and Sipi Safari Adventure, you will be picked up and then drive to Sipi falls that are located in Kapchorwa. You will pass through the fascinating Mabira Forest where you will get to see different tree species, sugar plantations around Lugazi and Kakira, River Nile and Lake Victoria. You will have a lunch stopover and then proceed to Sipi falls at a later hour checking in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Sipi Falls Hiking Adventure – Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park with evening game drive

Upon having breakfast, you will get to enjoy a spectacular hike through the villages along the path that will lead you to these falls. This walk will give you a front row seat and a sneak pick into the lives of the locals here as you get to meet many of them going about their daily routines such as tending to their coffee and banana plantations. As you get near these falls, you will be welcomed by their thunderous roar which will let you know how strong these falls are. These falls are in 3 distinct phases.

You will be able to see with the largest of them having its water plunge a whole 90m below off a cliff. The water cascading down creates this kind of a beautiful space between itself and the cliff and if you are strong hearted you can get near this point and pose for those incredible photos that will immortalize your presence here. From here, you will drive to Moroto town where you will have lunch break before you finally make your way to Kidepo Valley national park later in the evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Karamojong Community Encounter

On this day 3 of the 5 Days Kidepo and Sipi Safari Adventure, have your morning breakfast. And then proceed for game viewing safari in the Narus valley, look out for the big four which are present and they include the lions, leopards, elephants and the buffalos. The grassy Narus valley is most reliable for the lions and the leopards, huge herds of buffalos and elephants are found in these savannah areas as well. The Park is set against a backdrop of beautiful Mountain ranges offering the best scenery of a true African gem. Zebras, different antelope species and the cheetahs might be spotted in your morning game drive.

You will head back to your lodge for lunch. Later, proceed with a Karamojong community cultural encounter. You will spend a wonderful afternoon with the Karamojong people as you learn about their cultures and beliefs. At the end of the day, you will return to your lodge to relax and enjoy your evening. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with a lunch stopover

On having your morning breakfast, you will then check out and start your 7 to 8 hours drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will have a stopover at either Kitgum or Gulu for a delicious lunch. On arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, check into your lodge for rest and relaxation from your long drive.

Day 5: Rhino Trekking and Transfer back to Entebbe or your Hotel

On this final day of your 5 Days Safari, have breakfast and then head out for a briefing on the Do’s and Don’ts during Rhino Trekking. The sanctuary is home to Uganda’s last remaining white Rhino and it’s the only place where you can spot white Rhinos in their natural habitat. After this amazing experience, have lunch and then start the drive back to Entebbe to catch your flight or continue to your hotel.
