Tips to take while giving first aid

Cover wound

Put a bandage, and gauze to hold the injured place in one place with paper tape to keep the wound clean but when it is a minor scratch just leave it open.

Change dressing

The wound has to be dressed at least twice a day in the field and after the trial.

Get a tetanus shot

You need to get a tetanus shot if you have never got it for the past five years and if the wound is deep in order to avoid further complications.

Watch for signs of infection

After coming back from the trail, please get the advice of a doctor if you realize signs of infections on the wound or skin such as an increase in pain, swelling, drainage, and too much redness.
