5 Days Masai Mara

The Vibrant Holiday Safaris 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru safari starts from the Kenya capital Nairobi as it takes you to the most wonderful destinations in Kenya to the most visited National reserve in the whole African Continent Masai Mara National Reserve, and then the rift valley lake Naivasha. The safari will last for only 4 nights and 5 days. Our 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru will start with the drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve where you will enjoy the big five animals grazing in the savannah plains and other diverse and abundant species of animals found within the Reserve and later you will connect to Lake Naivasha to see the Crescent island and then to Lake Nakuru National Park the haven for the flamingo birds and other species of animals. Our 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru are best done during the dry season however they can be organized all year round.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:  Start your 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari

You will be picked up by the Vibrant Holiday Safaris guide from the airport who will take you for this safari and he will brief you on the short safari to Masai Mara national reserve. The road trip leads you to the park as you enjoy vast sceneries along the way, you will drive until you reach your booked lodge where you stay for the overnight and be handled by the professional staff. For those interested in using the flight, you will be picked up from Nairobi city and transferred to the Wilson international airport, where you will get your domestic flight to Masai Mara airstrip where the safari guide will drive you to your booked lodge. By air transport, you will have the mid-morning game drive before lunchtime and later also have the afternoon game drive in the Masai plains to enjoy the wildlife and later return to your lodge. You will use the four-well super custom vehicle

Day 2:  Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve

Yes, today is the day to explore the Masai Mara National Reserve. Therefore, you will have to prepare enough and wake up early in the morning and have breakfast prepared by your lodge after you will get your packed lunch also from the lodge and enter into the vehicle together with your safari driver guide and drive to the Masai reserve for the whole day.  You will be amazed by the wonderful views of the endless savannah plains with huge populations of animals such as leopards, lions, impalas, topis, cheetahs, giraffes, and other species of birds. Wildebeest will also not miss on this safari.  You will stay in for the game drive and later in the evening, you will return to your booked lodge for the overnight stay. There is also an opportunity for you to engage in hot air balloon safaris however as per this itinerary this will be an optional activity.

Day 3: From Masai Mara National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

Today, After having breakfast you will check out from the lodge and head to Masai Mara National Reserve for the last game drive where you will be able to get a chance to see other species that you could have missed through the previous game drives such as the tipis, lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and bird species after we move out and drive to Lake Nakuru National park, you will reach early into the park, check into your lodge for lunch and some reset. Lake Nakuru is one of the wonderful destinations that features different species. It was famous for the flamingo birds but now it harbors other species such as the white rhinos in Kenya. The park also features giraffes and some predators can also be sighted. After having a good moment and relaxing, it’s time now to engage in the afternoon game drives where you will be able to spot some of the above species of animals mentioned and these will include lions among others in the evening you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: From Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

Today we shall have breakfast and then after we drive from Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha. After arriving at Lake Naivasha, we shall do the game drives to the Hells Gate National Park. The hells gate national park features a lot of rocks where it delivered its name. There are several caves that you will explore within the park and you will as well find the old Njorowa Gorge as well as the Spa.  After this experience, we shall have lunch at the restaurant of your choice.  You will also explore the beauty of Lake Naivasha by tourists and enjoy the famous crescent island.  After you will return to your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Return to Nairobi

We shall have relaxed leisure and breakfast in the morning and after we check out and drive back to Nairobi or be dropped at the airport for your flight back home and this marks the end of our 5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Nakuru safari
