Day 1: Arrival and Pick up from Arusha – Transfer to Tarangire National Park
As you start this 4-Day Ultimate Tanzania Wildlife Safari, your driver-guide will pick you and your safari will commence. You will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 3 hours. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. The park covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. You will enjoy a daylong animal viewing safari with a picnic lunch looking out over the river, to break up the time in the car. After a nice game drive, before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After an early morning Breakfast depart for Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area while having a game viewing en-route to Serengeti National park and enjoying the evening game drive towards the campsite. Continuing on, as you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti mean “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater drive and Transfer back to Arusha
This last day of your 4-Day Ultimate Tanzania Wildlife Safari will have a drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. This is undoubtedly the best place to see the black rhino in Tanzania as well as a pride of lions. For example the magnificent black-mined males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game include leopard, cheetah, hyena, and lots of other members of the antelope family. Small mammals of all sorts can also be seen here. Late in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or the airport for drop-off.
